Found an error or have a suggestion to improve existing content?
- Technical corrections - Fix inaccuracies in technical content
- Clarity improvements - Make explanations clearer or more accessible
- Updated information - Update content for newer specifications or practices
- Additional examples - Add practical examples that illustrate concepts
New Content¶
Want to write new educational content?
- New topics - Propose coverage of topics not currently included
- Deep dives - Expand on existing topics with more detailed treatment
- Practical guides - Add hands-on tutorials and measurement procedures
- Case studies - Share anonymized real-world validation experiences
Content Guidelines¶
Educational Focus¶
All content should be educational in nature:
- Teach concepts, techniques, and best practices
- Focus on "how to understand" and "how to do"
- Avoid promotional or commercial language
- Reference specifications and standards appropriately
Technical Accuracy¶
Content should be technically accurate:
- Base content on established engineering principles
- Reference appropriate specifications where applicable
- Distinguish between well-established practices and emerging techniques
- Note when content represents one approach among several valid options
Accessibility¶
Content should be accessible to the target audience:
- Define technical terms when first introduced
- Build from fundamentals to advanced topics
- Use clear, concise language
- Include diagrams and examples where helpful
Submission Process¶
- Propose - Describe your intended contribution
- Draft - Create your content following the guidelines
- Review - Submit for technical and editorial review
- Revise - Address feedback and refine content
- Publish - Content is merged and published
